所谓简单,就是要控制我们的篇幅和字数,用最短的语言将我们的经历及事件说明白。
以申请北美高校为例,大部分学校要求本科申请者的简历要控制在A4两页纸以内,一页纸为上上选。
因此,大家在制作自己简历的时候,一定要选择有代表性的来写。写得少并不代表不丰富。对方看中的更多的是简历篇幅背后的东西。
2、简历要求短,但经历实在是太多了,没办法,只能靠缩小字体,并且把行间距以及段间距缩小,用word本身的自带功能来将其控制在一页纸以内。
这种观点是非常错误的。我们进行留学文书的写作,目的就是给读者去阅读。而我们的读者是对方录取委员会的教授,教授可不一定都是年轻的。
如果我们把字体调的很小,有些上点岁数的教授,他们看起来会非常别扭,第一印象就不会太好。
当然,想把所有经历都写进去的心情是可以理解的,但当经历很丰富的时候,一定要择优选取。留学文书,不在于你把“龙”画得多长,而在于点睛之笔。
