套磁是提交美国高校的申请，必须要经历的步骤，而大家在进行选择的时候，就要确认好自己的资格。今天和出国留学网来看看美国名校留学套磁要做好哪些准备？
准备关键
1.不要怕花时间，争取多套一些学校，毕竟套磁的同时也可以选校；
2.套磁的信尽量针对教授的研究领域进行一下修改，如果你对这个领域很有心得，可以加上。套磁信的末尾附上简要版的CV；把套磁过的教授名字和信箱保留下来，有回复的标出来，哪怕是模版；对于没有回复的教授，过一段时间换个信箱骚扰一下；
3.对同一个学校同一个系的老师，每天尽量只套一个；如果过两天还是没有回复，再换一个套；可以从某个领域的大牛开始，找他的学生，这样在套磁对象上容易寻找；通过阅读论X n H B r E v 3 u文提问的方法可以考虑，但是毕竟比较花费精力，大家酌情使用；套磁的时候可以多关注毕业没多久的Assistant Professor；
4.先从系里的老牛开始套（当然，要没退休的）。一般来说他们的时间比较多，回信率不低。虽然他们大多数都不会招生，但是你可以请他们推荐几个同专业的老师（有时候他们也会) 1 w @ w X主动推荐）。这时候再联系那些老师，套磁信里千万不要乱表忠心，很容易引起反感，到时候想反悔也不好说。可以考虑以询问明年是否招生为名义，这样比较合理，很多时候虽然没套上，也能得到一些有利于选校的信息；
5.联系你感兴趣的教授的中国学生也是个办法。有些时候他们会把信转发给老板或者其他教授，这样就起到了吸引教授注意力的1 + m { :作用；很多时候还可以得到一些有价值的信息；
6.中国老师也是一股不可小觑的力量，清华北大中科浙大的学生好申请就是因为人脉的原因。如果有私人关系，那就好办多了。一定要充分利用。想想看北大有几个人是非北大背景的，想想我们英语系当时有个山东大学的老师教我们散文，个人感觉他被北大帮挤兑死了，后来来了个留美的北大本科老师来代我们的散文课，系里那是一个夹道欢迎啊，回娘家的感觉。
j T O ! j7.如果科研做的好，有参加国际会议的机会，一定不要放过。开会是最好的套磁地点。（不得不再提一下百年讲堂什么的）0 L G w ! ! / Q多参加讲座，每年都有不少国外教授来中国大学，利用讲座机会多和他们聊聊。
8.当做了所有努力还是一无所获的时候，不要放弃，成功一定是当你尝试过所有可能失败的路径并从中吸取教训之后才获得的，当然如果悟性高，也可以预先吸取前人经验从而避免失败的发生。
